My name is Moira Dickson and I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I am a hobby breeder of Ragdoll cats and breed under a GCCF Registered prefix of PURRRPETALS.

I am a member of the General Council of Cat Fanciers (GCCF). I am also an active member of The British Ragdoll Cat Club (TBRCC).

I Breed towards good Type and Temperament, of the Ragdoll Breed Standards.

My journey breeding Ragdoll cats began in 2016 when I welcomed 2 lovely Ragdoll kittens (sisters) to my home, as my Foundation girls. They have both been wonderful mothers, having beautiful babies. Babies that have gone on to share Ragdoll love to many of us humans.

Though my Foundation girls are now retired, they are part of our family and will remain so, much loved. As also, are all of my other girls, that when retired will stay with us too.

All my breeding and retired girls and my neutered boy, are our pets & are cherished members of our family.

All babies are born within our home and are reared and loved as members of our family, until they go on to their Forever Homes.

All my breeding girls have been swabbed at my Vets, and the swab tested at Langfords Feline Diagnostic Laboratories, for presence of the HCM (Hypertrophic Cardio Myopathy) mutation gene MYBPC3, called RW820W in Ragdolls.

All test result outcomes are = Normal, for all, of my breeding girls.

I will only use Ethical Breeders whos’ stud boys are Registered as Pedigree with GCCF and have had an HCM test result = Normal, certified by Langfords Feline Diagnostic Laboratories, Also, that the stud boys have a Certificate of Entirety, certified & microchip verified, by a Veterinarian.

The Health and Wellbeing of all my cats and kittens is paramount in my care for them, providing love and care in a stimulating environment to enrich their lives.

All my cats are fully vaccinated.

I ensure all kittens are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered/spayed before they leave for their Forever Homes from 14 weeks old.

I occasionally attend cats shows and so far, my Neutered boy Gr Pr Purrrpetals Steve McQueen has achieved a title of Grand Premier. I look forward to attending more shows with him during the 2022/23 Show Calendar.
