PURRRPETALS RAGDOLL CATS

NEW KITTEN INFORMATION;-

May I share with you information about Purrrpetals kittens I raise.

I only look for Forever Homes for my Purrrpetals babies with the UK.

Kittens at 9 weeks old get their 1st vaccination and are microchipped. If I am keeping a girl, she will be swabbed & sample sent to Langfords Veterinary Services Diagnostics Laboratory for HCM Testing.

They will be registered on the Non-Active Register with GCCF.

At 12 weeks they will receive their 2nd vaccination.

At 13 weeks they will be spayed/neutered.

At 14-15 weeks they will be ready for their forever homes subject to recovery from anesthetic, following neuter/spay

My Breeding queens will only be put to GCCF Registered Studs, that have been swabbed by their Veterinarian & swab sent to Langfords Diagnostic Laboratory to be tested for the presemce of the HCM (Hypertrophic Cardio Myopathy) mutation gene, MYBPC3, called RW820W in Ragdolls.

I shall only proceed with a mating if the Stud has an HCM Test Result of = Normal, Verified by Langfords Feline Diagnostic Laboratory.

Also, the stud has to have a certificate of Entirety. Certified and microchip verified by a Veterinarian .

Additionally, I will only enter, into a Mating contract with Breeders who I trust. Respecting their individual Stud Contracts.

Prospective New Kitten owners are invited to visit for a chat & to view available kittens, only after kittens have had their 1st vaccination.

Potential New Kitten owners observe me with kittens, their mother & their siblings; thus observing I am not a 3rd party seller.. Lucys’ Law came into force in April 2020. Part of this Law makes it illegal for 3rd party sellers to act as Brokers in the sale of dogs & cats. The Law also aims to reduce illegal puppy & kitten farming, back yard breeding.

When all parties are in agreement, that a good match for the kitten/s has been found, following review & completion of a comprehensive contract, a non -refundable holding fee is made.

All Purrrpetals kittens are raised in my own home, with love and care and are well socialized before they leave for their Forever homes.

Kittens will be available for forever homes 7-10 days after their Neuter/Spay and only when I am sure they are in good health and have had no reaction to Anesthesia.

All kittens will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, Registered with GCCF, wormed and litter trained, prior to moving to their Forever Homes.

New Kitten Owners will be given the following;-

5 Generation pedigree, showing Registration Nos’ of Ancestors, which is signed by myself as the breeder.
